What is OneTrick?

In gaming, a “one trick” (or one trick pony) is a person, usually a gamer, who specializes in using only one character, skill, or strategy to the exclusion of all others. They focus on that one choice, learn it deeply, and rely on it to perform well, though they may struggle when forced to switch or rely on something else.

OneTrick is about that same focus in faith, not out of limitation, but out of trust. We are not trying to follow everything or rely on ourselves. We choose Jesus Christ as our foundation and stay with Him.

God does not change (Malachi 3:6). Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We follow one Lord (Ephesians 4:4-6), stay rooted in His Word (Psalm 1:2), and do not turn to anything else (Matthew 6:24).
